This rare extra large format vintage Polish poster was designed by Waldemar Swierzy as part of a tourism series in the late 1960s. The bold graphic illustrative style and block colours are incredible.

The posters were printed in different languages for display abroad. This is the Swedish version. It reads ‘Come to Poland for Camping’.

Size: 84 x 121 cm

Condition: Good, but please note the little bit of paper missing and some crinkling top right. We’ve reduced the price of this particular copy to reflect the slight damage.

BUYING A VINTAGE POSTER

All of our vintage Polish posters are lovingly sourced from Poland and were the original editions commissioned by the Communist State to promote cultural events. Polish posters were printed in strictly limited runs to be displayed in town centres, theatres and cinemas - so any which survive have been lovingly rescued along the way.

For us, nothing comes close to the soulful charm of vintage Polish posters; the colours, the offset lithography, the matt paper. But please note, due to their age, many do bear marks of time.
