Andrzej Krajewski always worked to a grid, using geometric shapes to create his wonderfully characterful illustrations. We love the series of posters he created with the grid left visible. Krajewski designed this 1980 Polish film poster for the Hungarian movie ‘Porwac Cesarza’ (Dead or Alive).

Polish B1 size: 66.5 x 96 cm

Condition: There are some tears on the right hand side of the poster which have been repaired with a special archival tape.

Polish posters were printed in strictly limited runs to be displayed in town centres, theatres and cinemas - so any which survive have been lovingly rescued along the way.
