Jerzy Srokowski is an incredible artist from the Polish School of Posters. The more of his work we discover, the more we love him. Srokowski designed this 1963 vintage film poster for the British film ‘The Million Pound Note’ starring Gregory Peck. The film was based on the Mark Twain short story "The Million Pound Bank Note", and inspired the 1983 film Trading Places.

Polish posters were printed in strictly limited runs to be displayed in town centres, theatres and cinemas - so any which survive have been lovingly rescued along the way.

For us, nothing comes close to the soulful charm of vintage Polish posters; the colours, the offset lithography, the matt paper. But please note, due to their age, many do bear marks of time.
