This is another super charming illustrative poster designed by the legendary Polish artist Jerzy Flisak for the Polish cinema release of the US movie ‘All in a Night’s Work’ (Dziewczyna w Hotelu). The movie was a 1961 American romantic screwball comedy directed by Joseph Anthony and starring Dean Martin and Shirley MacLaine.

Size: 58.5 x 84.5 cm

Condition: Good to very good. Please note the details of the movie were previously written in pencil when it was displayed in a cinema. This has subsequently been rubbed out but the writing is a little visible. We have affection for these kind of markings, and the stories they tell, but we understand if you’d prefer a copy without markings.

All of our vintage Polish posters are lovingly sourced from Poland and were the original editions commissioned by the Communist State to promote cultural events. Polish posters were printed in strictly limited runs to be displayed in town centres, theatres and cinemas - so any which survive have been lovingly rescued along the way.

For us, nothing comes close to the soulful charm of vintage Polish posters; the colours, the offset lithography, the matt paper. But please note, due to their age, many do bear marks of time.
