  • FILM POSTERS

    Artists designed posters for every film in Polish cinemas from 1950s - 1980s. The most sought after commissions were for foreign films from the USA or by famous directors. Vintage Polish film posters were printed in strict runs to be displayed in cinemas and on the streets.

  • TOURISM POSTERS

    Under Communism, Polish artists designed posters to promote Poland at home and abroad. These vintage Polish tourism posters were often printed in a variety of languages.

  • CIRCUS POSTERS

    The circus (cyrk) was a source of great pride for Soviet state. Vintage Polish posters conveying the atmosphere of the circus were displayed in towns and cities to announce its imminent arrival. Within the fun, colourful designs are hidden meanings about the Soviet state.

  • THEATRE POSTERS

    Vintage Polish posters designed for theatre productions including plays, operas and dance performances. Theatre posters were printed in small runs of around 1000 to 2000 copies, so are often very rare.
